This is the story of how our Lord and Savior worked through one man.
Our CEO, Founder, and President, Kevin Corkery — a retired US Navy FMF Corpsman from Boston, Massachusetts — is a disabled veteran, content creator, and professional Call of Duty player who was medically retired from the United States Armed Forces after being injured overseas in 2018.
After leaving the military, Kevin pursued content creation, competed in the World Series of Warzone, and began building his clothing brand, Salty Sailor Nation. Throughout his journey, he dedicated a large portion of his income to giving back to the veteran community after witnessing firsthand the struggles many service members face with mental health and the transition back into civilian life.
In early 2023, shortly after his retirement from the military, Kevin nearly lost his own battle with mental health. That experience became the driving force behind his mission to help others who have walked similar paths.
Kevin’s long-term vision is to use the income generated through the brand to build transitional homes for veterans leaving the armed forces with no family or support system to fall back on. If the country will not provide veterans with another chance at life, then we at Salty Sailor Nation promise to do our part.
In 2024, Kevin began designing clothing inspired by his streaming career. Originally intended to simply stand apart from typical creator merchandise, the release became an unexpected success. Across social media, the designs quickly gained popularity and developed a loyal following.
Recognizing his talent and vision, Kevin assembled a full team to help grow the brand into what it is today. The company now employs 15 people, including models, a marketing team, branding specialists, a content director, and videographer Wally — a Marine Kevin served alongside and considers a best friend.
In 2025, Kevin once again reached a point where he nearly took his own life. In that moment, everything changed.
Kevin, a man who had never truly built a relationship with God, experienced a powerful encounter with the Lord that forever transformed his life. He knew then that he was being called to something greater than himself. In response, Kevin committed to an 11-month-and-9-day fast, eating only one meal a day as an act of devotion and gratitude to honor the God who met him in his darkest moment and saved him.
That encounter was not the only time the Lord moved in his life. To this day, Kevin believes God continues to work through him, and he has made it his personal mission to help lead others back to the Father.

Later in 2025, Kevin suffered a PNES seizure caused by overwhelming stress. The experience forced him to slow down and refocus on both his health and his relationship with God. During that season, the brand stepped away from creating clothing centered around worldly influence and began a complete transformation.
This is that rebrand.
As of 2026, Kevin has dedicated the brand fully to Jesus Christ and to helping others. In Kevin’s own words:
“This brand is no longer mine, because I have given it to the Lord. This is now by God, through a man.”
That statement became the foundation of the brand’s new identity:

Today, the brand has been worn on movie sets by actors and actresses such as Abbie Cobb, comedian Justin Herman, musicians in mainstream media, NFL players, content creators, major streamers, and thousands of supporters around the world who either connected with the designs or believed in the mission behind them.
